In the spirit of Breast Cancer Awareness month, we want to applaud Gigi Beauty Bar in Beaverton, Oregon for their efforts to fundraise for Wings of Karen during their Grand Opening of their new location.

 

 

Gigi Beauty Bar is a family owned salon that started in 2002 in the heart of downtown Portland and are now currently centered in Beaverton, Oregon just a few miles south from where they got their start. Owners, Tia and Kenny Hoang, pride themselves on providing excellent customer service and continual training, so they can bring technical expertise and amazing experiences to their loyal guests. Gigi’s is a full-service salon and spa that aims to be the go-to salon for all their community’s beauty needs.

For their new location’s grand opening this month, Gigi Beauty Bar created an amazing event with spotlight promotions, discounts on all products, and holiday items. Offering mini services, clients were able to receive blowouts, mini manicures, and hand treatments. Being a part of the community is important to them and giving back to great causes made this event a perfect platform to support Breast Cancer Awareness month.



Inspired by KEVIN.MURPHY’s LOVE.PINK promotion, they contacted Wings of Karen to partner their event with a fundraising opportunity for the entire month of October. Clients had the opportunity to bid on baskets in a silent auction with all proceeds benefiting Wings of Karen. They were also accepting monetary donations in addition to their auction items and were able to raise $250 in donations from their clients.
