EDITORIAL:
The editorial category features your best work that could be published in a consumer media magazine to influence the world of fashion and beauty. Enter with #trifecta_editorial

COLOR:
Artists should showcase styles complemented by color placement. Enter with #trifecta_color

STYLING:
This category showcases a creative, artistic and versatile hair design. Enter with #trifecta_style

CUTTING:
Entries should create a unique statement with sharp lines, gradation, blending and more. Enter with #trifecta_cut

PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD:
Submit your best Before and After photo from behind the chair. The entry can be cut, color, style and/or extensions. Show us your biggest client transformation. The winning transformation will be selected by popular vote during the Trifecta event on June 12th. Enter with #trifecta_ transformation
 
TO ENTER:
1. Submit entry to [email protected] and include artist name, email and phone number. All image files must be in JPEG (.jpg) format. High-resolution images may be requested if selected as a finalist.

2. Post entry between April 1 – May 15, 2017 via Instagram and tag @salonservices. Use #TrifectaHairstylistAwards and the category specific hashtag (ex. #trifecta_editorial)

REQUIREMENTS:
Entrants must be currently licensed cosmetologists and/ or barbers currently residing in Canada, the United States, or Mexico. By entering the Trifecta Hairstylist Awards, the entrant ensures that the photographer(s), make-up artist(s), models and other parties involved in the production of each entry have authorized the entry. Artists will be credited when images are used. Salon Services obtains the right to use, edit and modify any submitted images. Any photo used for advertising or additional purposes by Salon Services will include a photo credit including the entrant’s name.

MULTIPLE ENTRIES:
You may enter into as many categories as you would like, with a few exceptions. If you enter the same category twice, the second entry must contain different photos than the first entry. You may use the same models for your second entry, however the images submitted must be noticeably different than what was submitted to the first entry.

PHOTO MANIPULATION:
The use of Photoshop and similar programs is allowed, however please use extreme caution. Photoshop may be used on the model’s face, skin, background and wardrobe but cannot be used to alter the hair.

HAIRPIECES, WIGS, EXTENSIONS, ETC.
There is no penalty for the use of wigs, extensions or other such hairpieces, however wigs are NOT allowed in the Color category.

JUDGING PROCESS:
A select panel of Trifecta Platform Artists from Keune, Moroccanoil, KEVIN.MURPHY, and Davines will select the winners. Finalists will be notified June 1, 2017 and Winners will be announced and awarded at TRIFECTA on June 12, 2017. Finalists should be present at the event. The People’s Choice Award will be selected by popular vote on June 12, 2017.
