Massimo Morello

Born in beautiful Venice, Italy, Massimo Morello comes from 3 generations of Italian hairdressers, and has been perfecting his craft for the last two decades. Massimo moved to Australia, and for several years he ran a successful hairdressing salon.

Totally hooked on KEVIN.MURPHY, Massimo knew he wanted to become an educator for the brand. In 2012 after successes as a Gold Key, Massimo became the first European STYLE.MASTER. He is now traveling the world to inspire and educate hairdressers in Europe and Asia, working on fashion shows in Paris, Stockholm, Prague, Holland, Copenhagen, and Melbourne and teaching each country’s educators to become more than they ever expected to be.


Kate Reid
Design Director of Color

For over 20 years, Kate has worked with the leaders of professional hair care, and has directed hair for major fashion shows, commissioning the right teams to bring them to life.

An editorial regular in premium fashion titles such as Marie Claire, Vogue, New Beauty, InStyle, Creem Mag, Estetica, Beauty launchpad, Shop Til You Drop, Woman’s Health, New Beauty, Madison, The Colorist, Salon Magazine and others, Kate has been recognized with countless awards, including P&G Global Educator of the Year, and was placed on the Global Influence Future Team.

Kate began her training in Adelaide and continued in salons for six years before excelling as a Color Technician for Wella, Education Manager for Sebastian and then Australia and New Zealand Creative Director for P&G professional hair division. In 2014 she relocated to North America with Kevin Murphy as the Education Director to execute the launch of COLOR.ME by KEVIN MURPHY.

In 2016 Kate was announced as COLOR.ME by Kevin Murphy’s international Design Director of Color, while she is a natural leader and teacher, working with international icons have kept Kate at the forefront of hair innovation and creation.


Sarah Lund
STYLE.MASTER

Sarah became part of the beauty industry over 11 years ago, she has had the opportunity to train and work in top salons giving her a wealth of technical knowledge. Sarah has worked on shoots for local magazines, been part of fashion shows as well as heading up the creative planning for shows. She has experience working on web based education and features for the Mall of America blog and advertising.

Animated, energetic and inspiring Sarah has always found her passion for Hairdressing in education. After being introduced to Kevin.Murphy she instantly fell in love with the idea of Skin Care for the Hair and the ability to create beautiful looks in a sustainable way. Finding her place in the industry, Sarah joined the Kevin.Murphy team in 2007.

Tim McClean
CUTTING.MASTER

Australian born, Tim trained under the creative forces of Melbourne's top salons learning classic techniques in cutting and styling before moving abroad to North America.

Tim's career has taken him behind the scenes of fashion shows in North America, the United Kingdom and Australia, as well as editorial shoots, educating salons and being a platform artist for our industry.

As an educator in classic and creative cutting, the KEVIN.MURPHY scissor is the next exciting step to evolve your Freeform and Precision techniques.
